On July 20, the KICT and the Administrative Welfare Center of Ilsan jointly held a donation ceremony at the KICT headquarters in Ilsan to mark the 40th anniversary of the KICT.

A month earlier in June, the KICT had held an official ceremony to commemorate the organization’s 40-year anniversary and announced the KICT’s new vision of “40 years of national land construction, 100 years of future construction together.” The institutions invited to the donation ceremony were asked to donate rice for the needy instead of the traditional celebratory wreaths. The rice donations were combined with funds earned by selling items, made by clubs of KICT employees, at various events.

Through the donation ceremony, the KICT was able to collect 200 kg of rice and coupons for an additional 60 kg of rice from 21 participating institutions from throughout the local community.
