On December 22, the KICT, Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), and the Federation of Korea Concrete Industry Cooperatives (KFCIC) concluded an MOU to jointly organize Asia Concrete Expo 2024.

The MOU will see technical exchanges between Korean and overseas companies, support for international outreach by meritorious Korean enterprises, and the conversion to and development of the concrete industry as a low-carbon industry. The three signatories to the MOU will cooperate actively in various areas, including in recruiting other organizations to participate, organizing seminars, and international marketing.

Asia Concrete Expo 2024, set to take place over three days from October 16 to 18 this year, is the second one, following the inaugural event that took place in 2021. Structured to be a major expo for the concrete industry in Asia, the large exhibition will take place on grounds spanning some 10,000 ㎡, and will showcase concrete products, concrete manufacturing, distribution, and management technologies, and concrete installation technologies and solutions. Accompanying events will include a global concrete technology conference, formal consultations with buyers from all over the world, and guided tours for concrete industry professionals. The Korea International Construction and Industrial Safety Expo and other events with ties to the Asia Concrete Expo will take place at the same time, which are expected to provide visitors with valuable insights and create positive synergies.
