The KICT, the Federation of Korea Concrete Industry Cooperatives, and Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) jointly hosted the Asia Concrete Expo 2024 at KINTEX over a three-day period from October 16 to 18.

The Asia Concrete Expo was Asia’s first-ever concrete trade show when it was introduced, and remains the only one held in Korea. Asia Concrete Expo 2024 marked the second time the expo was held, following the inaugural event in 2021. This year, the number of participating companies more than doubled, with 66 companies from 8 countries taking part, including the multinational Progress Group, Nordimpianti (Italy), the Hess Group (Germany), and Quadra Concrete (France).

Visitors could enjoy the full range of concrete production, installation, distribution, and management solutions on show, and access the seminars, conferences, and other business activities being held. The Progress Group, the world’s largest supplier of concrete production solutions, demonstrated its automated precast concrete production and installation solutions, while the Smart Modular Forum and Korea Concrete Institute gave seminars. The KICT held the KICT Concrete Technology Seminar, the largest seminar at Asia Concrete Expo 2024.
