On February 12, the KICT, Korea Environment Corporation of the Ministry of Environment, and 15 companies signed an MOU to improve indoor air quality in facilities used by sensitive groups, at a childcare center in Yangcheon District, Seoul.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by representatives from KICT, Konkuk University, Indoor Environment Management Centers designated by the Ministry of Environment, and the 15 companies, including LG Electronics. The childcare center where the ceremony was held will directly benefit from the MOU’s initiatives.

An Indoor Environment Management Center is a specialized organization appointed by the Ministry of Environment to advance the science of indoor environment management. The KICT was the first organization to be designated as an Indoor Environment Management Center in November 2023.
