On October 22, the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT) and Sungkyunkwan University concluded a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on construction technology R&D and talent development at the KICT’s headquarters in Ilsan.

Under the new partnership, the two institutions will combine their R&D personnel and infrastructure to strengthen their capabilities in construction technology research and development, while jointly fostering globally competitive science and technology talent.

Their cooperation will encompass efforts to enhance R&D capacity in construction and related fields; promote collaboration between academia and research institutions; expand convergence research and academic exchanges; pursue joint international research projects; and share R&D resources.
