On February 27, the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT) hosted a visit from the executive board of the Korea Institute for Structural Maintenance and Inspection (KSMI). The visit aimed to promote knowledge and technology exchange in structural maintenance and strengthen cooperation between the two organizations.

Led by President Lee Kang-seok, the KSMI held in-depth discussions with KICT officials on potential areas of collaboration, including joint research and information exchange to advance structural safety and maintenance technologies.

The KICT and KSMI agreed to continue structured cooperation based on their shared expertise and research capabilities.
