The Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT) participated in the 2026 Korea Science Festival, held from April 24 to 26 at KINTEX. The festival marked 60 years of achievements in science and technology and highlighted innovative technologies that will shape the future.
The KICT showcased R&D achievements closely connected to everyday life, including fire safety and risk management technologies for logistics facilities, an infrastructure monitoring system utilizing synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites, and a cleaning and disinfection solution designed to respond to hazardous indoor environments.
Through hands-on exhibitions, the KICT meaningfully demonstrated to the public how technology can transform everyday life in the future.
