Dr. Park, Ki-Tae wins one of the '100 Excellent National R&D Performances 2024'

On December 18(Wed.), the Ministry of Science and ICT announced the "100 Excellent National R&D Performances 2024"
Park, Ki-Tae(Ph.D.), Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Department of Structural Engineering Research at KICT, was recognized for excellence in the field of fundamental and infrastructure research with his study on "AI-Based Predictive Platform for Bridge Maintenance and Management Information."
Dr. Park implemented a smart platform leveraging AI to provide bridge maintenance and management information and was highly praised for presenting a scientific methodology to address the aging of domestic infrastructure such as bridges.
Meanwhile, the "100 Excellent National R&D Performances" initiative, now in its 19th year, is a cross-ministerial program designed to enhance public understanding and interest in the role of science and technology in driving national progress, as well as to foster pride among scientists and engineers.
