On August 27, the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT) hosted the “KICT Open-Talk in Europe” with Korean students in Europe and executives from Korean science associations during EKC (Europe-Korea Conference on Science and Technology) in Vienna, Austria.
The meeting aimed to introduce the KICT to Korean students majoring in construction-related fields and to promote new recruitment opportunities. At the same time, executives from Europe-Korea science associations joined in discussions on expanding participation in international joint research projects, such as Horizon Europe, and exploring methods of cooperation.
KICT President Park Sun-kyu commented, “We are making multifaceted efforts to strengthen cooperation in the European region, including the establishment of the KICT Europe Research Center in Germany. We will continue to lead the globalization of Korean construction technology by attracting outstanding international talent and expanding our global network.”
