On May 24, the KICT met with a delegation from the Construction Activity Management Agency under Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction at the KICT Ilsan headquarters. The meeting that took place was an expert exchange on construction management, construction standards, and building information modeling (BIM) technology.

Through the delegation the Vietnamese government formally sought Korea’s collaboration in improving its construction management, construction standards, and BIM. The wide-ranging information shared by the KICT with the delegation that day addressed laws, policies, and management schemes and achievements in those areas. The KICT and the visiting Vietnamese delegation discussed ways to continue their collaboration into the future.
