KICT and Vietnam’s DRVN Conclude MOU

On August 14, the KICT signed an MOU with the Department for Roads of Vietnam (DRVN) under Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by a delegation from the KICT, including its President Kim Byung-suk, and members of Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction, including Director Bui Quang Thai of the Department for Roads.
As part of the KICT’s efforts in the development of global infrastructure cooperation technology, the MOU will help Korean construction entities advance into the ASEAN market by forging cooperative ties with the DRVN, the national agency for the management of roads and bridges in Vietnam.
The KICT and DRVN will share data, technology, and personnel for joint research and stronger general cooperation, and set up testbeds in Vietnam.
