On September 2, officials from China’s Ministry of Water Resources, including Director Jin Hai of the ministry’s Department of International Cooperation, Science and Technology, visited the KICT.
Reporting to the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Water Resources operates the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR). The KICT and IWHR have maintained a partnership since 2002, holding regular events over the years to enable technical exchanges.
Recently, KICT hosted the 18th KICT-IWHR Construction Technology Seminar at its Ilsan headquarters from June 18 to 21, 2024. During this meeting, discussions were held regarding follow-up items from the joint seminar and KICT's participation in the 3rd Asia International Water Week (AIWW), organized by the IWHR.
