Efforts to globalize technologies for buildings and cities Building and Urban Research Institute

Building and Urban Research Institute emphasizes contributions to public development and quality of life enhancement by conducting research and development on buildings and cities for: sustainable human habitat, structural stability, high performance energy saving materials, energy conservation, and resource management. It has established a foundation to create a new building culture that develops: institutions, policies, methods, products, evaluation techniques, and advanced technology applications. Building and Urban Research Institute, based on the accumulated performance and competence of developing technologies, will support research related to the establishment of national standards and policies through industry-academic collaborations that contribute to building and urbanization technologies.
