Dr. Won Kwang-yeon, the newly appointed chairman of the National Research Council of Science and Technology, visited the KICT Ilsan head office on November 8. The chairman’s visit was intended to understand KICT’s current issues and look around the actual research field site to strengthen communications further between the council and the government-funded research institute.

Honorary professor at KAIST and the head of the national council that governs the 25 government-funded research institutes in science and technology, Dr. Won served as the director of the Virtual Reality Research Center and the dean of the Graduate School of Culture Technology before being appointed to his current office.
