KICT Hosts 3rd Annual KICT Open Forum on Policies for Dilapidated Infrastructure

On May 3 (Fri), the KICT hosted the Open Forum on Policies for Dilapidated Infrastructure at its Ilsan headquarters.
The forum covered: an introduction of a performance-centered maintenance and management system; an introduction to the Framework Act on Infrastructure Management; strategies for construction and maintenance technologies; development for dilapidated underground facilities; plans for the development of an integrated underground spatial information map with improved accuracy and utilization; policies and technical issues for remodeling dilapidated apartment housing through vertical expansion; and progress on the planning of a national R&D project for smart maintenance of road facilities.
The KICT open forums are a series of events that aim to boost employee interest in KICT research projects connected with key domestic and global social issues, facilitate the exchange of opinions on technology development, and promote additional convergence research and development ideas.
