KICT Holds Meeting with the Minister of Science and ICT and the Presidents of Government-Funded Research Institutes to Overcome COVID-19 and Improve the Economy

A meeting was held at the KICT on May 6(Wednesday) to discuss ways to overcome the economic slump caused by COVID-19. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Science and ICT and the Presidents of various government-funded research institutes.

The meeting attendees included: Ki Young Choi, Minister of Science and ICT; Kwang Yun Wohn, Chairman of the National Research Council of Science &Technology; and nine presidents from government-funded research institutes, including Seung Heon Han, President of the KICT. At the meeting, the participants discussed various measures to counter COVID-19 and to strengthen the economy; such as support measures for regional economies and SMEs and measures for job creation.
