The KICT and the Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH, CEO Lee Han-jun) recently co-hosted the Korean Construction Innovation Summit, which ran from February 16 to 19.

Part 1 of the event began on February at 1 PM with a forum on reducing noise between floors in apartment buildings. Part 2 of the event, which ran from February 16 to 19, was held in the form of “Modular & Pre-con Korea 2023,” an exhibition on the innovation of office-site construction, the only such exhibition in Korea. Modular & Pre-con Korea 2023 was organized by the KICT and supervised by the exhibition organizing company Messe Esang.

In his opening address at the forum on noise reduction, President Kim Byung-suk said he hoped that the forum “would be a stepping stone to reducing noise between floors in apartment buildings, something which needs to be addressed to improve people's quality of life," and pledged that the KICT would “search for practical solutions to the problem to promote the wellbeing and happiness of all people."
