On November 29, volunteers from the KICT and Goyang Volunteers Center delivered briquettes to members of the local community in need.
Thirteen KICT volunteers and members of the Goyang Volunteers Center and Goyang ROTC Volunteer Group delivered 1,000 briquettes to residents of Deokyang District in Goyang who were facing a cold winter due to insufficient heating.
Shinheung Valve, a valve manufacturer located in Gimpo, supplied Goyang Volunteers Center with a total 6,200 briquettes, 1,000 of which were delivered in a single day.
The KICT maintains a close relationship with other organizations in the local community and is a recipient of the Donation for Education Award. Throughout the year, the KICT regularly participates in volunteer work, such as waterside cleanup on World Water Day and home repairs for underprivileged households.
