On February 21, the KICT hosted a meeting of the heads of construction policy research institutes at its Ilsan headquarters.

The meeting was attended by ten key figures, including the heads and executives from four prominent institutes: KICT (President Park Sun-kyu), Construction & Economy Research Institute of Korea (President Lee Chung-jae), Korea Research Institute for Construction Policy (President Kim Hee-soo), and the Construction Engineer Policy Institute of Korea (President Kim Moon-kyum).

The purpose of the meeting was to realign the role of construction policy research institutes in overcoming current challenges and driving progress in the construction industry, while fostering cooperation among the four institutes. This gathering is expected to become a regular event, potentially accompanied by conferences and seminars involving additional construction-related research entities.
