KICT and the ROK Army Hold 2021 Construction Technology Exchange Meeting

The KICT and the Republic of Korea Army held a construction technology exchange meeting in the 30th Anniversary Hall at the KICT Headquarters in Ilsan on May 25 (Tue).
The technology exchange meeting was held with only the minimum number of persons in attendance, in accordance with COVID-19 containment guidelines.
The KICT and the ROK Army signed an MOU for the development of protective and structural technology, exchanges and cooperation in October 2017. In May 2020, they jointly developed a high-performance composite concrete able to provide protection against munitions, explosions and EMP shock waves, as well as a protective structure technology.
