The Pacific Ocean Division of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) visited the KICT headquarters in Ilsan on March 17 to discuss ways to promote exchange and cooperation. The USACE delegation consisted of Jose E. Sanchez, the Director of Regional Business for the USACE Pacific Ocean Division, Colonel Heather Levy of the US Army (Far East Commander of the USACE Pacific Ocean Division), and liaison personnel. The Pacific Ocean Division of the USACE has strengthened ties with the KICT in the areas of joint defense research and other fields since 2019. The two organizations signed an MOU in 2021.
