Ministry of Construction from Uzbekistan Visits the KICT

On June 16, officials of the Ministry of Construction from Uzbekistan visited the KICT. High-ranking Uzbekistan public officials, including Vice Minister of the Ministry of Construction from Uzbekistan H.E Adilov Davronjon Kabildjannovich and Rustam Kuchkarov from the Uzbekistan Construction Technology Regulation Center, met with President Kim Byung-suk and toured the KICT research facilities.
Uzbekistan’s president is pushing for the establishment of a comprehensive construction center (construction standard, national construction standard, construction examination certification, construction field R&D, fostering of construction technicians, etc.) with the KICT being a key benchmark target. The KICT and Uzbekistan have been making cooperative exchanges since 2018.
